Arm knitting is the latest craze, so come be part of the "knit-crowd" at gather! Cara from Mary Marie Knits will be here on Thursday March 5th at 7pm to teach the basics and show you how to knit your very own infinity scarf. Arm knitting uses your arms rather than knitting needles: it's great for beginners as it's really quick and easy to pick up! You actually loop the giant stitches back and forth across your arms. By the end of the class you will have your own chunky arm knit cowl to take home.
It's no secret that gather loves Mary Marie Knits; her handmade scarves, hats, poufs, and baskets are dotted all about our shop. Cara Corey is the lady behind the brand, a self-professed "writer, wielder of knitting needles and bigtime foodie" from Richmond, CA.
Whether you're a knitting novice or a total pro, you'll have a ball creating your own scarf from scratch while enjoying drinks and snacks with friends. Tickets are $40 (or $35 if you bring your own yarn*) and available here.
Space is limited so sign up soon!
*If you opt to bring your own yarn you need 4 skeins of super bulky yarn
