Daisy McClellanComment

Mother's Day is right around the corner! Luckily our shop is stocked with new items from our favorite artisans, and what better gift to give the mom in your life than something made with local love? We put together a little gift guide to make your life simple. Scroll through for some ideas. Stop in for some extra help or shop our online store and use the code "MAMALOVE" for FREE SHIPPING (Domestic within the US) now through May 13th.

Let's Put a Bird on It makes beautiful candles that any mom would love. Their hand crafted scents are smooth and rich. What a nice little pick-me-up! And bonus, a portion of the profits benefit animal rescue!

We love using these local San Francisco bags as gift-bag builders - they are the perfect size to fit a few items for a beautiful Mother's Day collection when you can't choose just one!

Does mom have a green thumb? We're stocked with Hemleva's 'Plant Lover' and 'Monstera' leaf gold-back pins (and special 'plant killer' pins for the black thumbs too)!

Giving the gift of wine is, let's face it, always a winner. We have a limited stock of our 'Mom Juice' and 'Therapy' wine bags to go with your perfect Pinot.

BALEEN Jewelry

For the effortlessly chic mom, Baleen is one our favorites. We've brought in their newest collection of long pendants, bangles, earrings, and chokers.

Spring Favorites

Daisy McClellanComment

Spring has officially come to the bay. We're filling up the shop with flowy dress, cool tops, and comfy skirts and pants perfect for the season. Take a look at our favorites below. Try them on in store and shop them in our online shop

We're especially in love with Bridge and Burn's new spring collection! With modern patterns, breathable fabric, and chic stitching, we've brought in a collection of soft, springy blues and grays that customers are raving about.

A cotton-linen fabric with a faux open back detail, the Joss top is super light weight, and perfect for SF weather! Weather this tee to Ocean Beach, or out to brunch. Easily compliments high-waisted shorts, your favorite pair of jeans, or a fit-and-flair pant for the adventurous gal! The Pacific Stripe is made with various block stitching of blues, while the Chambray Dots is available in a pale gray with white dots.

The Ondine skirt is an easygoing, versatile skirt design that is equal parts functional and dressy.  Complimenting the pattern of the Joss chambray dots, the Ondine skirt has pleats at the waist, with large front pockets in the front. Pairs well with the Joss Chambray Dot shirt for a casual look, or a tighter tucked-in basic, for a sleek look out-on-the-town.

Have you discovered our newest maker, Chan + Krys yet? Two bi-coastal best friends collaborate to make this easy to wear line. We love the silhouettes and the fabrics.

Their Verona Dress in desert stripe is currently at the top of our wish list. Pair it with gold sandals on vacation or clogs and a jean jacket for the farmer's market. Understated but never under dressed.

We're also big fans of their Nimmo jacket. We love it in this hemp black. The perfect layer for those ever so chilly spring nights. Looks great buttoned over leggings or open as a jacket over a dress for work. Add some statement earrings and you look effortlessly put together.

CHAN & KRYS Varied Stitch Nimmo P731.jpg

Our current go-to is their W. Humbolt top. A deep v neck and side slits make this o so flattering. We love it with boyfriend jeans. And with so many great fabrics to choose from like white and navy stripe, copper embroidery, and birds you'll want to start a collection.

CHAN & KRYS Melange Indigo Humboldt P543.jpg

All the girls in the shop are crushing over Sarah Liller's new collection. She has expanded into cardigans, sleeveless tops, and more! Made right here in San Francisco, this line of solid staples always flatters.

We wear the new wide leg pants at least 4 days a week! The comfort of pajamas but the look of someone who put some thought into their outfit. We swear you'll never want to take them off.

The Chloe top sit pretty on your shoulders. We love the pleating detail. Available in black and kelly green, our new favorite pop of color.  Pair under a jacket for a business meeting or wear with white shorts for a more casual look.

Finish off your outfits with some Baleen jewels. We love their modern and minimalist style. Our top picks are below.

Get flirty with some tassel earrings.

How cool are these solid hoops?

And these mobile dangles are a dream.

Inspired by the mountains where she grew up and the ones where she currently lives in Truckee, CA, jewelry maker Krista Tranquilla creates outdoor-themed necklaces, earrings, cuffs and more. From John Muir quotes to constellations to ocean and forest imagery, Krista's beautiful work evokes a sense of calm.

Learn more about Krista and see examples of her jewelry below.

Where do you draw inspiration? Or who inspires you?

My inspiration mainly comes from the idea of being outside. I am also inspired by brave and adventurous people.

If you could eat at any food truck, what would it be? And what would you get?

For me, it is all about the sauces. So a food truck that would have a bowl of good food and killer sauces to choose from.

What do you like most about the maker community?

I love how supportive everyone is and that the idea of collaboration is generally shared by all.

Where is your favorite place to travel?

I dream about international travel all the time, but we (my husband and 2 daughters) can be found backpacking in the Sierra or camping on the coast when it comes time to travel..

What do you want for your next birthday?

A day of pampering.

What does your work space look like?

I just moved into a bigger space in my house. It has lots of light and it is very messy. I love it.
